Sodalite is an uncommon mineral that is not particularly well known. It occurs in places that quartz does not, similar to lazurite. They often occur together as part of lapis lazuli. It is named after its high sodium content, and is primarily a brilliant deep blue color with white veining.
Sodalite can help you communicate more effectively and honestly, resisting the urge to say what people want to hear or what is easy and convenient. It can also increase the volume of your inner voice, bringing self-insight. It is sometimes called the logic stone, because of its ability to clear the mind and facilitate logical thought.
