Amazonite is a teal green variety of microcline feldspar, a relative of moonstone and labradorite. It gets its green color from the combination of lead and water within its structure. It has a long history of being used to create ornamental items and for healing purposes- there is evidence of it being used by both Amazonian tribes and ancient Egyptians.
Amazonite is helpful for communicating thoughts and feelings without becoming overly emotional. It encourages objectivity and integrity in conflict, diffusing disputes and tense situations. It can bring feelings of hope and positivity and increases flexibility.
