Obsidian is volcanic glass- formed at the end of a volcanic eruption when the lava cools rapidly. Silver sheen obsidian forms when very small gas bubbles are trapped during this cooling process and then stretched nearly flat by the continuing flow of the lava, creating a reflective surface underneath.
All obsidian protects against negativity. It is deeply grounding, and helps to instill a sense of security and safety.
Snowflake obsidian gets its white snowflakes from inclusions of the Cristobalite. It helps to purify your mind of negative thoughts and feelings of regret or self-criticism. It can also assist with focus and eliminating persistent procrastination and other bad habits.
